What we collect
- Server logs: our hosting provider records IP address, browser type, requested page and time to keep the site secure and working. Logs are kept for up to 30 days.
- Emails you send us: your address and message, used only to reply and improve our guides. Kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
What we do not collect
The contact composer builds your message in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us until you choose to email it yourself. We do not run advertising, sell data or build visitor profiles.
Legal basis
Under UK GDPR we rely on legitimate interests for security logs and for replying to messages you choose to send.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by emailing us. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
